Sporenvangers is a temporary structure made of demountable second hand wood and fully degradable mycelium. The object itself has a function that we do not immediately recognise. Nonetheless it reminds us vaguely of bygone times and structures of former cultures.
Counting 24 wooden pillars and 69 mycelium panels, the Sporenvangers is part of a one month festival with 20 foolish buildings on a route along buildings, trees and grasslands in the north of Drenthe.
